Additional information: A member of Saratov Opera since 1987. Her performance incorporates clarity of intonation, a wide compass and exquisite subtlety and finesse of the sound, an outstanding acting talent. In 1999, the singer polished her vocal skills at Arena di Verona, Italy. In 2002, she was promoted to Merited Artist of Russia. Olga Kochneva is associate professor with Voice and Opera Faculty, Saratov State Conservatoire. She performs extensively in collaboration with the String Quartet of Saratov Opera and Ballet presenting a comprehensive repertoire of classical and contemporary music. This fruitful cooperation won them the First Prize in the International Festival of Music 2008 in Spain.

Since 1996, Olga Kochneva has repeatedly been a best female singer nominee in the Annual Golden Mask National Festival held in Moscow. In 2005, she was awarded a Diploma of the Festival for her rendition of the title role in Puccini’s Tosca. Olga Kochneva appeared in opera houses and concert halls of Russia, South Korea, Germany, and France.
