Additional information: member of Saratov Opera and Ballet since 2003, tenore lirico. The artist’s approach to his roles is scrupulous and always based on a deep psychological insight. In 2008, Pavel sang an important role of Wagner in the company’s production of Vladimir Kobekin’s opera «Marguerite» nominated for the Golden Mask National Festival in Moscow. Two years later, he appeared in the Golden Mask again with a witty and masterful interpretation of Prince in Offenbach’s «Les Brigands» Apart from operatic roles, the young singer’s repertoire also embraces a variety of art and folk songs, solo lines in oratorio and cantata.
Korchagin has toured extensively nationwide including Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Astrakhan, Perm, Ulyanovsk, Cheboksary, Yaroslavl.
